BHP 220 Edge Protection Mesh – PN-EN 13374 Compliant

The BHP 220 safety mesh is designed for temporary edge protection both inside buildings and outdoors. The product effectively protects workers and tools from falling from height. Using the BHP mesh eliminates the need for additional guardrail boards and toe boards, significantly speeding up edge protection installation on construction sites.

Main advantages of the BHP 220 safety mesh

• PN-EN 13374 compliant edge protection – the mesh meets the requirements of the PN-EN 13374 standard thanks to the reinforced lower section with a height of 150 mm. The design effectively protects the working area against falling tools and materials.
• Solid steel construction – the mesh is made of cross-connected steel wires with a diameter of Ø6 mm. The lower part of the mesh features a reinforced section made of Ø4 mm wire, increasing the safety level.
• Weather-resistant finish – the mesh is protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating in orange color. Custom color and customer logo are available on individual request.

Product application

The BHP 220 safety mesh is designed for securing working platforms and other working edges in formwork systems. The product is compatible with commonly used screw-in holders, side-mounted holders, universal holders, counterweight holders, side holders, driven posts and cast-in systems.

Installation method

1. The mesh should be installed from the working area side. The mesh must be mounted on at least two posts positioned on opposite edges.
2. Mounting hooks of the posts should be inserted between the wires and supported on the horizontal wires of the mesh. In case of dimension compensation, multiple meshes can be installed on a single post.
3. Properly installed mesh must have the angled reinforced section facing the working area. The bottom edge of the mesh should rest on a structural supporting element. Any gap between the floor and the bottom edge of the mesh is not permitted.
