It is designed to transfer point or linear loads in a direction parallel to the web. The ends of the girder are secured with rounded tips made of hard plastic, acting as shock absorbers.
Girder characteristics
The BT20 wooden beam is designed to work as a component of traditional ceiling formwork or specialist wall formwork. It is made in the form of a spruce beam, with an I-shaped cross-section, with a solid web. The beam components are made of C24 spruce wood, in accordance with the EN 338:1995 standard. The beam ends are secured with rounded sections made of hard, shock-absorbing material , which protects the cross-section from mechanical damage.
