Timber beam BT20 smartBEAM plus The BT20 smartBEAMplus beam is a basic component of ceiling formwork. Its task is to transfer point or linear loads in a direction parallel to the web. Depending on the need, it can work in a horizontal or vertical position.
Characteristics of the beam It is made of spruce wood, 20 cm high and 8 cm wide with full diameter shelves. The ends of the beam are protected by immersion in hard plastic, which acts as a shock absorber. This is the most effective protection method, which significantly prolongs the durability of the cross-section against mechanical damage.
Resilience:
All BT20 girders undergo tensile load tests and machine sorting for strength. This guarantees the highest quality of workmanship and a solid, durable product. The girders are made of C24 class spruce wood, in accordance with EN 335:1995.
